Thinking about these. I have zero knowledge about what is out there. Anything to stay away from? I know a ton of them are from China. Anything specific I'd want to look for?

I have a set of Pazzo clones from fleabay. I like the shape (more rounded) and adjustability to bring the front brake lever a tad closer to the grip. The only issue I've had is the finish fades over time. I'll get a pictures later and add here.

They're all from China..... I have used several sets on the various bikes I've had, no issues whatsoever. They all seem to be made in the same place, adapter parts are stamped with the code specific to the bike (same stamps on the genuine Pazzo's I had, but Pazzo handles are unique). The anodizing depending on colour will fade with time, as anodizing does, or wears off somewhat with glove usage. I've had no issues with them, I like the functionality and the range of adjustment.

If you want the best...get these, I love mine. They ain't inexpensive

I have Pazzo levers on my 17..I like the feel of the levers in my hands and the slightly reduced reach - I think they offer a better mechanical advantage over the stock levers. Women have also told me that since I put them on my bike that they find me more attractive.

Pazzos for me. The black anodizing is still great and zero mechanical issues with one set of Pazzos in 285,000 miles and fifteen years on two different FJRs.

I have Pazzos on both of my bikes. The quality and feel is top notch.

I have Pazzos and a mixture of knock-offs. As mentioned, the knock-offs finish will fade but in general I find they function as well as the name brand high $$ levers. YMMV

Any thoughts/logic on the shorter ones vs the standard size? Any major benefit or just a preference on the short ones?

I get the long ones, or the adjustable ones. They are already short enough, don't know why you'd want to go shorter.

I did. It comes up as an empty cart and if you select "Sport Touring" it only shows 1 option and that's for a Gold Wing so I wasn't sure which ones you were pointing to.

My only issue with the short Chinese levers on both my FJR and the first GSA was that over 55,000 miles on either bike the pivot holes wore a little oblong.

Both Yamaha and BMW OEM levers have hard bushings to pivot on, the Chinese levers just have a hole in the aluminum lever.
No issues on the FJR, eventually I had to replace the left lever on the BMW because the cruise would not stay engaged. I put the OEM lever back on and it worked fine.

I also have Pazzos. The ONLY reason I bought them was because a Forum member began an on-line store, YEARS ago and I was supporting him. Also didn't hurt that we got a discount. I figured they were just bling.

I was wrong. I LOVE my Pazzo levers. The feel is completely different and the adjustability is really convenient. Pazzos will be one of the first things I add to any nee bike.

The only guy I knew that had short levers was FUBAR. He may have had just a short brake lever, but I don't remember. He did say that with the loss of leverage, he wished he had gone with the full length lever(s).

FJRs are listed under sport bikes.

Thanks for the offer Ray, no need, I'll grab a pair at some point. It's not likely that I'll be at EOM.
