Redfish swims to a new pond

Post by Redfish »

Well, here I am. Some of you know me already and hopefully those that do don't hate me too much. I am here in search of happiness. Happiness is where my friends are and I think they came here.

I am looking forward to posting some good Ride Reports and reading some Great Ride Reports. With any luck I will be included in RRs from other members. It is past time for Pop and I to make some events.

You guys can attack now.

I agree...you say a lot in your reports and get to the heart of matters. They rock.

Looking forward to the next one.

It just so happens that I did recently take a good ride with Pops. I did not post a RR in the usual place.

I did post it on FJRowners and on my old Honda ST1300 forum, st1300.us.com but if I can figure out the pic posting process I would really love to post a better version of it over here. I did not realize how much the RR added to my enjoyment of my trips.

Welcome Redfish. Your ride reports are great, and I enjoy the hell out of them although they make me regret not making more memories with my dad while he was still around.
Have you done anything to improve your rider skills or knowledge lately?

Any chance you could share that info with me too? Much obliged.

I suggest we put together the "method" and make it a sticky...... minimize the searching and postings asking for the info.....

Guys, this forum, like many others, supports the use of UBB code. If you learn a couple of tags, you can post on nearly any forum regardless of what GUI tools they give you.

Check out this link -> http://www.nirvana2.com/ubbcode.html

Scroll down to adding images. Most folks only will ever use one or two types of tags even though there are many options. Using the IMG tags around your image link is pretty quick and easy and will work on most forums. Learn it once, use it nearly everywhere. Also makes it easy to copy/paste a ride report into more than one forum.

I use this code:

Code: Select all

[img]http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/cc448/gixxerjasen/Misc/BlackCherry_zpscgqjffmw.jpg[/img]
To insert the following image:

Image

You can also use the full editor and it'll help you add the tags, though I highly suggest just learning them so you don't have to rely on which editor you are using.
