If a one of the 2 Bros slip-ons 'slipped' off the header does that make the remaining pipe a 1 Bros. It is a slip on so I'd expect it to slip off.

$444 for a set of tires, as a Darksider, that must have been a painful experience.

Great photos and thanks for sharing. Again there should be two calendars this year, Greg's and everyone else. I am not worthy! Think about it. I have only a photo of my Triumph. Greg has multiple outstanding FJR photos AND all from Europe.

Sounds good on getting things sorted out with the shops there. Also, loving those deals on your lodging and food. Looks like a place even I could afford!

I was concerned about the location of the bike on the edge of the cliff. In prior post Skooter road up a gravel slope, stopped for a cow, then use the front brake to backup (the FJR on a GRAVEL road), one questions his judgement. So I was hoping this hill wasn't sloping toward the lake!

My European Adventure 2025 is a wrap. Sadly. 44 days. 8,300 miles. 10 different countries - 3 of them new for me: Croatia, Montenegro, and Romania. Lots of highs. A few lows. It was AWESOME! I can't wait to go back next year. Riding the Alps in Europe has been the best thing I have done in my life. I wish many of you would make the effort. There is little doubt in my mind it would be one of the highlights of your life.


Highlights:

- Dubrovnik, Croatia was SO cool.
- I finally got to Romania. (And Croatia)
- The Dolomites. A unique area of the Alps in northeast Italy where the mountains are silver and jagged. I had been there before and I enjoyed them but after this trip I think they have displaced the Swiss Alps as my favorite area to ride in. Barely.
- Riding some of my favorite passes: Stelvio and Umbrail, Petit Sanit Bernard, Spluga, and San Bernadino.

I'll try to get a fuller write-up with lot of photos sooner than later......

Maybe you mentioned this before and I missed it, but did you plan and ride these routes yourself or was it part of some package and you had someone with you as a guide? What were the lows you mentioned, that might be helpful information to know if anyone is planning to go.

Can we all just forfeit our entries for the calendar and do a 12 month Skooter calendar? I'd buy it under one condition, there are no photos of Skooter in them.

As an amateur photographer myself, I am in awe of your composition skills and ability to capture the essence of the area you are experiencing. You put the viewer there, along with you. Curious what equipment you used during this epic trip?

Insane! The whole trip. Agree, one day should get over there.
