I have never tried to put a turkey in the saddlebag. The saddle back will hold a large helmet but no an extra large.

Did ya try putting it in the bag?

The FJR will carry turkeys no problem, JSNS.
Searching for roads paved with Asphalt, unless I am riding the mighty DR650 bushpig.

I want to know how many miles you have to ride for the heat off the exhaust to cook the turkey in question.
I sure other gourmets would want to know.

Ok - let's jack this thread up proper. It's Dec. 6 after all. Thanksgiving is over. Either the turkey made it or not.

But related to "bike cooking", I once "cooked" a half dozen homemade beef burritos on the header of a Honda Nighthawk. It took about 75 miles at about 65 mph, followed by 2 or 3 miles at 30 mph (but at about 8,500 rpm).

They were delicious.

The Turkey made it to a family of three. The delivery was fun and the bird remained "on ice" when I handed it over.

The pumpkin is another story. It made it from the end of October to Thanksgiving... a relatively long stretch...

The beer is a normal stock item in my garage. Happy to share with any FJR owner that swings by to Albany!

What surprised me was that all those keen eyes missed the two bottles of VSOP Cognac sitting next to the beer. Yes, I will share those as well!

Turkey will not fit in the side case of an FJR. They are small and awkwardly shaped.

It would need to be a much smaller country ... Malta, maybe, or a larger Greek Island.
