Yeah, I might celebrate this unusual event with a beer or two. I don't know...this doesn't happen very often, so I am unsure of the proper celebration.

I was bored looking after the smoker this past weekend. Washed mine, polished it, and then graphene coated it. We'll see how that works.

Today, rode it to work, only to realize that I left my work truck keys in my car at home, so had to go back home, then back to work. My Motopump compressor came Monday, so I'll find a home for that under the seat some time today.

Maybe it's because I just watched Jurassic World.....but if there is an extinct bug from 2004 I'm pretty sure we can bring it back with dna from Andy's bike.

Okay. Washed the bike. It might have needed it. It now weighs 5 lbs lighter...so I should really be able to rail the curves now! :D

Is 10:30 too early for a beer?

I'm not sure how you commemorate an occasion like this.

Yesterday...after a good 2k on the bike, I moved the handlebars back to their rearmost position. Hoping I don't need risers...the LITTLE bit seems to be enough. We'll give her a few miles to decide.

Also installed the Yoshi pipes. Look great and sounds great (IMO), throaty, but not loud.

FYI, if you need a little more handlebar rotation, on the underside are two pins, remove either the inside or outside set and you can rotate the bars. I did this on my '07, but I needed risers also.

If you don't have an ES, this could be a good option.......???

Finished for the night in Erie, PA. 775 miles since we left home. 24 lighthouses, 4 steam trains, and 1 ice cream stop so far. Heading home in morning with 1 ice cream stop planned for State College, Pa at the Penn State creamery.

Changed erls an filter. Its a sad commentary that I've only had 4000 fun miles since last September. I used to travel 12000 miles on trips yearly. But its a different kind of riding now. Not complaining...just observing. Anyways, Lucky13 is bathed and erled.

Again, not mine, a friend in need again, it's been here before... 2003 not idling correctly, crappy below 4000 rpm per my test ride, not sparking on one or two cylinders occasionally, but has lotsa power and no misfires above 4000-ish.... this is gonna take me down a rabbit hole or two. First up, pull the plugs. Bike is here for the week, valve check on the list too.

I didn’t wash the bike, but I cleaned the windshield, headlights, and taillight. Purely for self preservation.

Walked past the box with the clearwaters lights I took off the 2018, but won’t put on the 2022 without adult supervision.

I like this bike better every time I ride it.

I said the heck with it and jumped on the FJR for a quick buzz up to Bloomington Illinois. Guy up there posted on ADVRIDER that he had a bunch of FJR items. The Main few things were a full quart of unopened whale Jizz from Yamaha for the final drive. Another quart of Yamaha lube oil, A bar end, a bunch of crush washer, and quite a few miscellaneous fasteners. A package of wind shield screws, and small screws that no one loc tites and they fall out.

He was going to pitch them since he no longer has the FJR. So I figured I could be a holding place in case someone needs these specific items in the future. I have certainly benefitted from the group here and if I get to a tech day soon, I know Ray and crew could always use some inventory.

My eye did fine and I got to ride some while saving the landfill from these items.
