The T32s are awesome tires IMHO.
I have a set of the T32GT waiting in the wings. Still have to finish off the RS3 that are on the bike.
mcatrophy: I don't know if it makes a significant difference but I always remove the label before balancing a tire...
Don't think it's an issue. I've had this debate in Another Place. This was my response there:
...
Just for you, I've weighed the label. It's somewhere between 2 and 3 grams (for you ex-colonials, that's between 0.0705479 and 0.105822 ounces). In all honesty, I don't think a tenth of an ounce is going to matter very much, even at that increased radius from where weights are normally fitted.
...
Hope that puts our collective minds to rest.
I had forgotten that exchange. (It was almost 4 years ago.)
I agree - If the label weighs as little as 3 grams, it is unlikely to make a significant difference.
From a dreary start it turned out to be a beautiful day and since I had already been discussing with my brother in law when I would be able to pick up the bike and so everything worked out. I only rode for about an hour but it felt great and now I'll start going over things that everyone with a garage gets to do through the winter.
Ok as previously mentioned picked up the ole girl yesterday and brought her home from her long winter's nap and realized that I had not gotten my registration renewal notice. Usually would have already gotten my new sticker before I picked her up so today I went on line and renewed the registration. Now just hope they send it out quickly. Wondering what happened. Maybe DMV is looking to collect fines in addition to the registration fee.
Yeah, I was able to print out a temporary registration so I'm good now. Just strange they never sent out the usual notice. What do they expect you to remember or something.
Alabama DMV prints the sticker at the counter. In years past they used preprinted sequential numbers but now they print the license plate number on the sticker.
PA no longer uses the little stickers on their plates. Claimed how this move of no longer printing out those little stickers would save the state oodles of money yet the cost of registration actually went up. HMMMM?
Ontario just eliminated them, and the fees, retroactive, so I just got a cheque in the mail...... renewed for 2 years. BTW, dunno how long this will last (guessing 2 years, lol), somebody just maybe is trying to influence our vote in the upcoming election.......

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can sure muffle the sound.
Have it packed and loaded for vacation. Leaving work at 10 and riding to Lorton, VA to catch the Auto Train to Sanford, FL. Once there we're heading south to Key West for the weekend then starting our trip home Monday working on the IBA Lighthouse Challenge. Hoping to drop in on FYB tech day on the way home to say hello. In case anyone wants to stalk us

Y'think..?
'Little less obvious through than when Mike Harris just mailed everyone a $200 cheque just before an election...
Jumped on it for a little ride down to Terra Haute Indiana. There is a decent road on the way there—-Considering the areas straight roads of course.
3 goals in mind.
1. Get out and burn some of the cobwebs out.
2. Stop by the moto dealer and see what they have boot wise for a friend.
3. Snag some salmon from FreshTyme market for dinner.
Mission accomplished. 155 miles.
I hit 127 on the GPS. I think it was Mph, bit maybe Kph in case someone asks. No real selection of Adv boots in stock. Salmon grilled was delicious.
Bonus was realizing I am not buying a new KLX300. They want 7300 OTD for their unit there. I just can’t imagine paying that for a dual sport.
That alone may have talked me into the 351 big bore kit.

I often have found myself when I was not looking, nor did that discovery take place where I thought it would!
About 250 miles today after getting off the train in Sanford, FL. Snagged our first lighthouse for the IBA lighthouse challenge. Couldn't get the one at Cape Canaveral as it's on a military base and you need an appointment and background check first which I didn't know until we got there. Done for the night in West Palm Beach after having dinner with Victor. Tomorrow we head for Key West

Garmin hides a trip odometer which logs top speed since last reset.

Chump change. Price a new Beta, KTM, or Sherco.
A friend bought a 2018 KTM 500 EXC 6 months ago with almost no miles for about $9500.

Rode about 75 miles today.
I keep hearing you retired guys are so busy it's difficult to find anytime to ride.
Kind of funny Doug. When I worked I always planned a ride for Sat or Sun. Now being retired and days running together I find that days go by and I realize I haven't ridden in awhile. I need to ride more before it gets HOT!

Rode it to Tifton, GA. Avoided Atlanta (per Marie’s instruction/order), and no interstates. Negligible traffic the whole way. It was a good day riding.
